The Starting Position
No website. No Google Business Profile. No reviews. No CRM. No call tracking.
A NATE-certified HVAC contractor with more than two decades of work in La Paz County, running almost entirely on referral and word of mouth. Good reputation locally, invisible everywhere a homeowner actually looks.
That is a real position and it is more common than the industry admits. It is also the cleanest possible starting point, because there is nothing to undo.

What We Found
The Attract stage was not weak, it was absent. A homeowner searching for AC repair in Parker had no way to find him unless they already knew his name.
The more useful finding was competitive. Almost nobody in his primary market had a real website or a well-built Google Business Profile. The contractors who were visible were renting that visibility through Local Service Ads and Google Ads, paying per lead for a position they did not own.
That gap decided the sequence. In a market where competitors are all buying traffic and nobody is earning it, organic and profile work is the higher-return first move.
What We Built
Google Business Profile first, then the website, then CRM and follow-up, then paid search, then attribution. Paid search was deliberately last, going live only after the organic foundation was earning, so paid was adding to something rather than substituting for it.
Google Business Profile
Categories, services, service areas, description, photos, and a review request attached to job completion
Website
Service pages by job type, city pages by market served, and structured data identifying a specific HVAC contractor in a specific place
CRM And Follow-Up
Lead capture, missed call text back, and a database that holds customers instead of losing them
Paid Search
Google Ads and Local Service Ads, live only after the organic foundation was earning
Attribution
Call and form tracking connecting every inquiry to its source
What It Produced
Google Business Profile, three-month window: 66 phone calls directly from the profile, 61 website clicks, 12 chat starts, and 372 total interactions across 908 profile views. Monthly interactions grew from 65 in March to a June peak of 94.
Reviews: zero to 26 Google reviews in approximately six months.
Organic search, first three months compared to most recent three: clicks up 71 percent, impressions up 77 percent, top-three positions for AC installation, emergency AC repair, and heat pump repair in Parker, and more than 1,000 unique queries returning the site from a starting point of none.
What the numbers do not show: Parker is a small market. Top-three organic rankings there produce steady, modest click volume. The profile is doing the heavy lifting on lead volume, which is exactly what we expected in a market this size and why it was built first.

What We Would Do Differently
Conversion tracking should have been configured on day one. Analytics was installed but phone click and form submission events were never set up as key events, which means the first several months have no conversion data at all. The Google Business Profile numbers survived because Google tracks those independently. Website conversions from that period are simply gone.
We also let the site index at both the www and non-www addresses for longer than we should have, which split ranking signals between two versions of the same homepage.
Both are now fixed. Both are on the pre-launch checklist for every build since.
The Lesson
- LeadDriverPRO is a contractor marketing agency founded in 2025 by Jeff Kelsheimer and Brad Bokath, both from construction backgrounds.
- From no digital footprint to 26 Google reviews and top-three Parker rankings in six months.
- Google Business Profile produced 66 calls, 61 website clicks, and 372 interactions in a three-month window.
- Organic clicks up 71 percent and impressions up 77 percent, with 1,000+ unique queries returning the site.
- Clients own their website, domain, content, and lead data. Month-to-month, no long-term commitment.
